I first set out from my south Houston suburb in pursuit of a Bachelor of Journalism at the University of Missouri more than a decade ago. Upon graduation, I moved to Chicago to complete the Conservatory Program at The Second City Training Center and begin work at prominent tech startup G2. I started on the research team and worked up to senior content marketing specialist, building out the blog from scratch.
After graduating from the Conservatory, I moved to NYC in March of 2019. During the nationwide shutdown in 2020, I shifted my creative focus to storytelling, stand-up comedy, and TikTok - combining my social media powers and comedic ideas.
Professionally, NYC saw me move into the executive coaching world, bringing training and empowerment to professionals internationally with celebrated company The Fast Forward Group.
I have since returned to my southern roots in Austin, TX, where I am represented by Acclaim Talent and work as the Director of Operations and Marketing at Merlin Works Institute for Improv, marrying my career in marketing with my passion for storytelling and performance.
I am the director of Fallout Theater’s sketch comedy group, “Miracle Baby,” I’m an active stand-up comedian, and am in post-production for a digital sketch project. I am also available for content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, operations and logistics, or administrative roles, either in a full-time or freelance capacity. I know - what CAN’T I do!?
I am a creative mind with an interest in people, performance, and storytelling and I’m actively searching for opportunities to act, write, assistant direct, direct, or just sort of be around whatever fun, creative projects will have me.
